  • Equine Massage Services

Equine Services- Something I do on a very part-time basis, for those in the equine community in the Worcester County area.

    Equine Massage Services:

The  services I provided include equine massage with trigger points and  related modalities including Equine sports massage, Myo-Facial Release and TMJ = Equine Temporomandibular Joint (chewing & performance).

    Benefits of Equine Massage:

    • Pain Relief
    • Relief from restlessness and sleep disturbances
    • Improved proprioception
    • Stress relief
    • More efficient movement
    • Improved posture, circulation, hair coat, muscle tone
    • Increased flexibility and range of motion
    • Immune system support
    • Injury prevention
    • Increased benefits when used in conjunction with Chiropractic and/or Acupuncture

I only work with horse owners/handler on site. After an initial interview with the owner or handler and an observation of the horse (in motion and while standing still), I will provide an assessment of what I believe the horse needs.

It has been my experience that the initial treatment for a horse who has never had a massage is typically around 30 minutes.

As the horse becomes accustomed to the treatment the massage will typically range from 40-90 minutes depending on the horse.

Please call for more information or to set up an at 508-614-0160
